I’d like to begin off our new collection with a simple question: Why is the world obsessive about greatness? Why will we idolize superheroes? The explanation is actually fairly easy. We're drawn in the direction of greatness because we all know that we're destined for greatness. We determine with the hero of the story because we all know that we're succesful, and destined, to turn out to be the hero of our own story. And yet, how many people do you know who are truly great? Most of us are convinced that we're simply "okay." We might have position models we glance up to, who we consider to be really nice. But when we look within the mirror, can we see greatness? Do we expect greatness from ourselves? If we are all really able to achieving greatness, why do so few strive for it, and even fewer achieve it? When I used to be younger, I turned obsessed with this query. I was fascinated by what drives and motivates people to do what they do.
In addition to formally studying the topic, I started asking every profitable particular person I met to clarify how they turned who they became. Is there is a secret? What do nice individuals do that is so different from everyone else? In addition to analysis and expertise, I spent my life interviewing the greatest minds of our technology.
